Meet Judge Kristen Brauchle Hawkins

She was elected as the judge of the 11th District Court in 2016 and re-elected in 2020. Growing up in Houston and attending Alief Hastings High School, Judge Hawkins has always had a strong connection to her community. She pursued her higher education at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her B.A., and later went on to obtain her law degree (graduating magna cum laude) from South Texas College of Law Houston.

Judge Hawkins is a jurist deeply rooted in her community, and she continuously strives to improve the legal profession while making a difference in the lives of those she serves.
